During the time between classes a prject will be cmpleted by each student. On the secnd day f class each student will briefly share their prject and experience creating it with the class. Overview f the Prfessinal Fundraising Series This series f curses is designed t help equip develpment fficers, executive directrs and thers respnsible fr resurce develpment, with the skills needed t bring in funds. Series Frmat: Classes are ffered n Thursdays, Fridays and/r Saturdays, with a fur- r five- week break between sessins. The break allws fr students t cmplete prjects, applying what they learned in the first day(s) f class. The prject must reflect actual wrk fr a nnprfit agency they wrk r vlunteer fr r the student may take the pprtunity t wrk with a new agency they want t learn abut. The Midwest Center can help cnnect students t agencies needing specific prjects. After the break, students return fr a secnd sessin in which they present their prjects t the entire class. This prvides students the pprtunity t develp verbal and presentatin skills, and enhance learning by bserving different applicatins f the same principles. Fllwing presentatins, the remaining class time is used t develp additinal skills in the subject area and t answer questins.
