IB Night Agenda What is IB? Why choose IB? What does the RICS IB experience look like? Is IB the right fit? What is the next step?

The IB Mission The International Baccalaureate aims to develop inquiring, knowledgeable and caring young people who help to create a better and more peaceful world through intercultural understanding and respect. These programmes encourage students across the world to become active, compassionate and lifelong learners who understand that other people, with their differences, can also be right.

In other words, we want to move from this:

To this:

The application process at Riverwood began in 2006 and the first cohort completed the Personal Project during the 2009-2010 school year.

Strands of IB at RICS: MYP, Coursework, DP The IB Middle Years Programme (MYP) is for all Riverwood students in grades 9 and 10. The IB Courses are available to students in grades 11 and 12.
