This is a guide only the time taken to complete your course will depend on your level of skill and knowledge. What will I learn? You will learn how to identify and source information needs and how to collect, analyse and report information. This certificate will also teach you how to prepare final general ledger accounts. Providing more comprehensive skills, this course will allow you to implement an organisation s procedures for providing WHS training and how to monitor procedures for identifying hazards and assessing risks. When you have completed the course you will be able to prepare for information system changes and implement participative arrangements for the management of WHS. Minimum age requirements You will need to be at least 18 years old. Education requirements While there are no formal education entry requirements, Open Colleges suggests you should have completed schooling to Year 10 or equivalent, or hold a nationally recognised qualification relevant to this qualification, or have relevant vocational experience. English language requirements This course requires you to read comprehensive learner workbooks, undertake a range of written assessments and engage in online discussions. Furthermore, the delivery mode relies on the extensive use of written communication. As such, entry to the course requires English proficiency to Year 10 level or a NRT or Trade qualification at the Certificate III level or higher, or 2 years of work experience in a role that requires the use of written documentation and communication, or the completion of an approved English language test (see website for details). Computing requirements You will need access to a computer and the internet and you must have basic computing skills.
