Pacing Guide: CMP2 Note: Out of the 24 mathematics, it is the pacing authors opinion that two standards are not reflected in the seventh grade CMP2 textbook. Those standards are 7.G.3 (describe the two-dimensional figures that result from slicing three-dimensional figures, as in plane sections of right rectangular prisms and right rectangular pyramids) and 7.G.4 (know the formulas for the area and circumference of a circle and use them to solve problems given informal derivation of the relationship between the circumference and area of a circle). Additionally, the seventh grade pacing authors found that there is one standard that is lacking depth in the seventh grade curriculum: 7.RR.1 CMP2 Pacing Guide: 7-27-11 Page 10
