My Oxford English Module 1A Contents and Objectives MODULE OBJECTIVES Level 1A of My Oxford English allows students to interact in English in a simple manner, ask and answer questions about themselves, the place in which they live, the people they know and the things they have, and make simple sentences about everyday topics. They will learn, among other things, to use the verb to be, the demonstrative adjectives (this, that, these, and those), the articles (a, an, and the) and the imperative ( Listen! ). They will also study prepositions of place of time, frequency adverbs, and prepositions of time. They will find vocabulary related to numbers, countries, nationalities, professions, means of transport, clothes, family, sports, daily routines, and many other topics. Students will be able to communicate essential information about themselves, including their profession, likes and preferences, and habits and routines. 1/8
