I will always remember my summer in Pickering College. I will always be glad with my parents for sending me here, because thanks to them I ve met new people with their own cultures, thanks to them I ve met a lot of friends. Also the teachers and the counsellors were great with me and with everybody. Jorge Ch., Spain I love Pickering College. Last year I enjoyed so much at the school that I came back this summer. I like the people who work here; I like the teacher and counsellors. Everybody is nice; if you need help, they support you. Everybody is available and always ready to listen to you. I love Pickering College because I feel comfortable; it is like a second home for me! I will cherish all of the moments, experiences and new friends I have met this summer! Victoria T., Italy Pickering College is one of the best experiences I ve ever had. All the teachers and counsellors are welcoming since the first day. At first I thought that it was just going to be a summer like any other, but since the first week you get to meet people that you know you will never forget. I feel that I have made friends for life. You get to learn English in a completely different way than you do in school, it is everywhere (not only in the classroom). I enjoyed every activity, every game we played, and every single moment at Pickering College. If someone asked me what they can do in summer, I would absolutely recommend Pickering College ESL Summer Camp. Maru R., Mexico City Pickering College Camp is really awesome! Pickering College is very good I really like it here; it will be my school in this year. The best part is group work, we all have fun. I met many, many friends from different countries, it s really cool! The teachers and counsellors were very kind and excellent. I will remember all my friends and the days I have with them forever! Steven S., China Students come away from Pickering s ESL Summer program with a lifetime worth of memories and an extensive network of new friends from around the world. The small, interactive classes encourage students to develop their English skills in a fully immersed program. The Canadian experience provided by Pickering College allows students to gain a sense of self confidence, independence, and an appreciation of being a global citizen. Eric Hamm, ESL Teacher at Pickering College Sports 18:30 Dinner I just want to let you know that Gijs-Henk is quite enthusiastic (understatement) about his time. He 19:15 Free Time/Activities simply loved it! He thought everything was great: the food, the bedrooms, the people, the councellors, 22:30 Lights Out/Quiet Time the country, the classes, the teachers, etc. Normally Niagara Falls Gijs-Henk is not very outspoken about his trips, but this was surely an exception. So I want to thank you very much for giving our son such a chance to see the best of the Toronto area. You also took wonderful care of him. Arianne K., Mother from Netherlands I have never been so far from my home before for such a long time. I m very thankful my parents gave me this opportunity because this is a moment in which you can grow up; you get in touch with other cultures, make new friends, become more independent and obviously have fun. This experience will be unforgettable because every day we do something different. The camp helped me to become more confident and less shy, especially in meeting new people who don t speak my language. Ottavia V., Italy Sports Baking
