Willi~ 2017 Annual Report on Special Districts' Compliance DATE: December 29, 2017 In compliance with Sections 189.064(1) and 218.37(1)(f), Florida Statutes, the Division of Bond Finance has prepared the following reports relating to the receipt of certain forms and information from special districts issuing bonds or entering into other types of long-term debt as reported to the Division of Bond Finance during the period from December 30,2016 to December 29,2017. Attachment I shows that five districts did not comply with Section 218.38(1)(a), Florida Statutes, which directs units oflocal government to provide the Division with an advance notice ofbond sale. All notices of bond sale received by the Division on or after the bond sale date are deemed to be not in compliance with this statute. Attachment 2 shows that ten districts were late reporting information required by Sections 218.38(1)(b)(1) and (l)(c)(l), Florida Statutes.
