Understanding MSAS LMS Objects Learning Group is logical grouping of users that caters to specific learning needs of that group. MSAS LMS Users can be assigned to one or more learning group. Group User assignments can be static (Manually assigned) or dynamic (Criteria based automatic assignment.) Modifications in user profile (via HR feed or manual updates to user profile) may trigger changes to the assignment of users and their assigned groups. Group consists of one or more learners, Instructors, Managers and Group Administrators. Group can be assigned training courses as Optional or Mandatory with due date and frequency. For periodic training MSAS LMS auto computes next due date depending on the user s last completion date and periodicity of the course. Group Calendar allows MSAS LMS users to track of instructor led training events. Group Administrators can manage access to users, courses and announcements for their administered group.
