HIGHLIGHTS 2,003 students enrolled 961(48%) male and 1042 (52%) female. ACT composite (16.02) average high school G.P.A (2.31). The average age of the student body is 21 years. Tennessee students comprise 1254 (63%) of the total enrollment. Out-of-state students comprise 749 (37%) of the total enrollment. 856 students (or 44%) reside off campus. 1147 students (or 56%) reside in campus housing. Fall 2008 deferred payment plan amount $ 378,000. Over 22 Million dollars in financial aid was awarded to 98% of Lane college student body. 807 New students (40%) of the student body, 629 New freshmen, 126 New Transfer students, 42 New re-admitted students, 10 New post baccalaureate students 1196 Returning students(60%) of the student body, 1096 traditional returning students and 100 returning leap students 58 New leap students (3%) of the student body, 10 leap freshmen, 42 Leap transfer students and 6 leap re-admitted students.
