Speaking- You will not receive the specific speaking prompts in advance. You will be called up at random in small groups and be assigned one of the following themes to talk about: Body parts, injuries and accidents (5B) Sporting events, contests, and TV programs (6A) Making movies (6B) Recipes and food preparation (7A) In order to prepare for this midterm, try and come up with some possible questions and answers and practice speaking with your classmates. Also, make sure you comment on what other people said (i.e. Me too! Me neither! What a shame! Really? You don t say! Etc.) I will pick students and themes at random and have you speak in small groups at my desk. 5B: Write down 5 possible questions and answers as well as some comments. Short Answer: You will have to answer questions in a complete sentence. Make sure you know the following 11 question words in Spanish. What? How? Who? With whom? How much/many? Where? To where? From Where? Which? Why? When? Now come up with 5 questions and answers for each Chapter. We already did this for the Speaking section of the study guide. Come up with different questions for this Short Answer section of the study guide. No repeats! 5B 6A
