What is Mediation? In the simplest of words, mediation is an assisted negotiation with the support of one of our highly competent mediators. In mediation the communication level shall be enhanced between the parties allowing them to better understand the different dimensions of their dispute and each other s perspectives; allowing the parties to make an informed decision which in turn, shall lead to a successful collaboration and creation of creative and mutually accepted solutions. 4 THE ARAB MEDIATION CENTER

Why Mediation? In mediation, the parties are invited to negotiate and take control over the outcome of their dispute in a safe, confidential, and flexible atmosphere. Settling dispute with confidentiality in mediation means parties wish to avoid the limitations of litigation and arbitration, save money and time, maintain control and privacy, and also preserve the personal or business relations that may, in many situations, lead to future cooperation between conflicting parties. THE ARAB MEDIATION CENTER 5

Introducing AMC The Arab Mediation Center (AMC) was established through a successful collaboration between distinguished judges and legal elites who all share the knowledge, expertise, and the belief in the importance of mediation in addressing the limitations associated with classical Litigation and Arbitration.
