Statutory Requirements Upon entering Grade 9, student indicates in wrihng an endorsement he/she intends to earn Must be permiwed to choose an endorsement other than the endorsement the student previously indicated FoundaHon High School program without an endorsement if: AZer sophomore year Student and student s parent advised by a school counselor the specific benefits of graduahon with one or more endorsements AND the parent files wriwen permission with the school counselor
Four English Credits FoundaHon HSP 22 Credits English I, II, and III and an advanced Three MathemaHcs Credits Algebra I and Geometry and an advanced Three Science Credits Biology, AP Biology, or IB Biology Three Social Studies Credits World Geography or World History or Combined, US History, US Government and Economics
FoundaHon HSP (cont) Two Credits in Same Language (LOTE) Same language or computer programming language One PE Credit One Fine Arts Credit 5 elechve credits *NEW* a specific speech course will not be required

Requirements Allow a student to complete the curriculum requirements for at least one endorsement If only one endorsement, must be mulhdisciplinary studies District defines advanced courses and coherent sequence Follow prerequisites A course may sahsfy an endorsement requirement as well as a requirement under the foundahon program
