PJM530: Contracts, Procurement, and Risk Management Credit Hours: 3 Contact Hours: This is a 3-credit course, offered in accelerated format. This means that 16 weeks of material is covered in 8 weeks. The exact number of hours per week that you can expect to spend on each course will vary based upon the weekly coursework, as well as your study style and preferences. Course Description and Outcomes This course provides students with the best practices of contract management and purchasing. Topic areas include risk management planning, risk identification, risk analysis, responses to risk, risk monitoring, and risk control. In addition, the course covers the project manager s responsibilities in identifying and obtaining resources from vendors as well as the legal requirements and contracting processes involved. Include at least 5 outside academic and professional references that provide information and guidance for your portfolio project. As always, content must be formatted according to the CSU-Global Guide to Writing and APA Requirements. Include a title and reference pages.
