When choosing your course it is important to check you have satisfied the academic entry requirements, prerequisite study and any additional pre-selection activity. This is your final chance to let us know what you wish to study. No further course change is possible after submission. If you choose to apply for a destination degree that is not listed, your application will be assessed individually. If successful, the one year advanced standing is not guaranteed. STEP 3 SUBMIT YOUR PREFERENCES Now that you have chosen your course, you need to submit your course preferences. You can nominate up to three courses. It is important to remember that preferences are assessed in order, make sure you list your preferred course as number one. Please ensure you list the correct course codes. If the course name and course code do not match, Admissions will go by the course code provided. This is your final chance to choose your destination course, choose carefully. You must nominate your course preferences, even if you have a Monash University destination degree packaged with your diploma course. Submitting your course preferences is to confirm your course and provide your back-up options. AUSTRALIAN CITIZENS AND PERMANENT RESIDENCY HOLDERS Please apply through VTAC at vtac.edu.au, if during your course you become: an Australian citizen (including dual citizens), or a New Zealand citizen (including dual citizens), or an Australian permanent resident, or a holder of an Australian permanent humanitarian visa. Monash College diploma students applying for courses at the Monash University Sunway campus in Malaysia should apply directly to the campus at monash.edu.my 9

STEP 4 ACCEPT YOUR OFFER Full offer letters are emailed four days after results are released. It is important to have your contact details up to date so that you receive your offer letter on time. Update your details by visiting: my.monash.edu.au/wes If the offer you receive is for the same course as originally packaged in your visa, no action is required. A letter will be emailed to you confirming your full offer. If the offer you receive is for a different course to the one originally packaged with your visa, you must complete Part B of the International Student Course Agreement, provided with your offer letter, and email to mu.documents@monash.edu. It is important that the agreement is received before the date listed on your offer letter, or the offer will lapse. FEES You do not need to make a tuition payment now. A few days after enrolment, you will receive an email to your Monash student email informing that a fee statement is available online via WES. Payment is normally due a minimum of 11 days from the date of issue. If you have made a deposit of A$1,000 as part of a packaged offer, it will be automatically deducted from your fee statement. 12

STEP 5 ATTEND ENROLMENT AND ORIENTATION Before you can start classes, you must enrol in your course. Enrolment days can vary so it is important to check your enrolment date, time and location as soon as you receive your offer. A schedule of enrolments can be found at study.monash/student-life/getting-started. AUTHORITY TO ENROL Prior to your enrolment (2 3 days), you will be emailed an Authority to Enrol letter. This confirms that you have successfully completed the acceptance process and you are ready to enrol. ON THE DAY OF ENROLMENT You must enrol in person, on your scheduled enrolment day. You must bring: a print-copy of your Authority to Enrol letter your current passport your visa details You will not be able to enrol without these documents. During enrolment we will help you select your study units and explain how to secure your class times. It is very important you attend the correct enrolment session. ORIENTATION At Monash we want you to feel welcome and at home as soon as you arrive. Orientation or O Week, is held in the week before classes start, and consists of fun activities and events that help you get to know your new university, fellow students and your campus. You can find out more about O Week by visiting: orientation.monash ARE YOU UNDER 18 YEARS OLD? You must be 18 years of age before or on the day you enrol. If you are currently under the age of 18, you will need to ensure that appropriate accommodation and welfare arrangements are in place in the time that you remain under 18 whilst undertaking your bachelor course. Email latereg@monash.edu with your full name, date of birth, student ID number, course you are enrolling in, exact date of arrival and reason for late enrolment. Permission to enrol late will be considered but may not be granted. Please note: The Monash Business School does not accept late enrolments for any reason.
