MAJOR ACHIEVEMENTS 2016 Georgia STEM Education Award Winner FSA represented Georgia in seven different National and International competition in 2017. FSA represents Georgia in National Science Olympiad three years in a row. Currently holds 21th place in the nation among more than 7,000 Science Olympiad teams. FSA Science Olympiad Team won 1st place in Write It Do It event of National Science Olympiad in nation two years in a row! In 2015 FSA received a breakthrough award in National Science Olympiad for showing the highest improvement in nationals. Represents Georgia in National and International First Lego League Competition three years in a row. Last year, our students won the Innovation and Strategy Award. This year, our all-female robotics team consisting eight 8th grade students advanced to International Robotics Competition in Bath, UK and won 3rd place trophy there. These students were the first group of students representing Georgia at the International First Lego League. FSA Math Olympiad Team won 1st place in State Math Counts two years in a row to represent Georgia in National Math Counts competition. Under our leadership, Georgia won most improved team award at the national level two years in a row. Thanks to FSA, currently Georgia ranks in 4th place in the nation. Governor Deal recognized FSA with a commendation letter after this success. Won 1st Place in 2017 Coastal Region Model United Tournament. Our students represent Georgia in International Model United Nations in New York five years in a row. FSA Destination Imagination Team advanced to Global Finals three years in a row representing Georgia. Our High School History Bowl advanced to National and won 2017 Junior Bracket Championship. This year, one of our 2nd graders, represented USA in World Chess Competition. Our K-1 and K-3 level chess teams won 1st place at the State Chess Competition. Many of our students attended Super National Chess Tournament and won many awards. In 2016, North Fulton & South Forsyth counties voted FSA as best private elementary school and best K-12 private school in Appen Media s Annual Best of the Best Contest. FSA won the Business of Excellence Award from the City of Alpharetta three years in a row. FSA is the fastest growing private STEAM school in Georgia. FSA is also the fastest growing gifted school in Georgia. In our 4th year as private school, Atlanta Business Chronicle recognized us among 75 largest private schools. It is expected that we will be among 50 largest private schools next year. FSA began in 2012 with 101 students and enjoyed over 400% enrollment increase in five years to reach 515 students. We expect to serve about 750 students and more in Pre-K through 12 grades in the next 5 years.
