BRANCH & BUSINESS CENTRE Be introduced to the cornerstone of our business in one of our top branches as you interact with customers and learn about our products. CROSS SECTOR ROTATION Journey to another sector to see how different sectors within the bank are inter-related and gain more insight into a wider scope of business RISK MANAGEMENT Learn to evaluate the risks involved in our decision making process, and how to control its impact to the business. PRODUCT/STRATEGY DEPARTMENT With the knowledge and exposure gained, you are rotated back to your sector of choice to contribute and achieve departmental targets. CORE/SUPPORT DEPARTMENT Be part of the core team in the sector of your choice to gain fundamental technical skills essential in developing your career. INTERNATIONAL ASSIGNMENT Fly to one of our regional offices to develop business awareness and exchange best practices, ides and skills.
Global Maybank Apprentice Programme (GMAP) (3/4) How Will the Role of the Coach Assist in the Maybank Apprentice's (MA) Personlised Career Development? MA s programme will be ensured by the coach to be structured in order to align to the MA s development needs and to those of the business. MA s learnings during all his / her attachments can be tracked. Coach ensures that the Assignment Managers are briefed regarding their roles and get frequent feedback from them on the MA s progress. MA will be consistently given feedback on how he/she are performing by the coach. Focuses on ensuring the MA have specific tasks and skill development opportunities.

Challenge is an international business case competition to discover the brightest minds across the world. 14 countries will be targeted for 2014 edition. Challenge 2013 (Recap) (1/3) Grand Finale in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia In 2013, 5,000 applications were successfully received from 10 countries around the world, including United Kingdom, Vietnam, Thailand and China. 54 finalists were shortlisted for the 5 days Grand Finale which was held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia in August.
