Registration Fee: This is payable upon acceptance of your child and secures your child s place in the school. This fee is non-refundable. Enrollment Deposit: This is payable upon acceptance of your child and before he/she is admitted to the school. The deposit will be refunded when the child leaves the school, provided that the Headmaster has received one term s notice in writing of the intention to withdraw and no fees are outstanding. Activities and Sundries Day Student Deposit: This deposit is used throughout the academic year to purchase school shop items, pay for academic day trips and other incidental costs. Please note, once the deposit balance drops to THB 3,000 during any academic term, the Finance department will issue an invoice for THB 7,000 for the balance to be topped up to the full THB 10,000 capacity. Activities and Sundries Boarding Student Deposit: This deposit is used throughout the academic year to purchase school shop items, pay for academic day trips, Boarding weekend trips, hospital visits, additional transport costs and other incidental costs. Please note, once the balance drops to THB 5,000 during any academic term, the Finance department will issue an invoice for THB 15,000 for the balance to be topped up to the full THB 20,000 capacity. Tuition Fees below are per Term 3 Terms per academic year (apart from Year 11, 12 13 which is invoiced as 2 payments per academic year, in Term 1 and Term 2) 1

Tuition Fees: includes one Residential Trip per year (Year 4 and above*), BIST teacher-led Extra Curricular Activities (ECAs) (not including some ECA s such as cookery club, International Award etc. where an additional charge is payable) and standard EAL support. *Please note that any student that receives a scholarship or financial bursary off tuition fees of 10% or more is required to pay the full cost of the Residential Trip. Sibling Discount: A sibling discount of 5% off tuition fees applies to the second child, 15% for the third child and 50% for the fourth child. Additional siblings are discounted at the Headmaster s discretion. Meal Fees: This is a compulsory fee and all students enrolled at BIST are expected to use the catering services provided by the school (with the exception of a student having a medically certified, acute dietary allergy that the school cannot cater for). The fee must be paid in full together with all tuition fees. Examination Fees: These are invoiced separately in Term 1 of Year 11, 12 and 13, in accordance with the charges levied by the relevant examination boards plus administration costs. Please note that students will not be able to sit any external examinations at school 2

unless all exam fees and tuition fees have been paid in full. It is an expectation that students will sit all examinations for subjects studied at BIST. School Uniform: This is compulsory for all students and can be purchased from the school shop. Pre-Payment Discount: For those parents who wish to pay a year s school fees in advance for a completer academic year (T1, T2, & T3) they will receive a 5% discount off the annual amount. Please contact the Finance office for more information. Late Entry: For new students entering the school late in any academic Term, Tuition fees will be prorated. Please note that the school provides Personal and Accidental Insurance for all students and all boarders are also covered for basic medical care insurance as part of the Boarding Fees. Boarding Fees (inclusive of accommodation, compulsory medical insurance and all meals): Full Boarding (7 days a week) 130,303 Weekly Boarding (4 p.m. Sunday to 4 p.m. 95,903 Friday) Daily Boarding (4 p.m. to 7.30 a.m.) 2,000/Night Please note that students will not be able to enter the boarding houses if all boarding fees have not been paid in full (and have a receipt) before the commencement of the new academic Term. Additional Fees (in Thai Baht THB) Additional English as a Second Language (EAL) Chinese Student Support Programme (CSSP) 10,450 Per Term 15,700 Per Term Additional English as a Second Language (EAL): This fee is charged to those students requiring additional/intensive EAL support above and beyond the usual curriculum provision. Chinese Student Support Programme (CSSP)*: This fee is charged to our Mandarin Chinese speaking Boarding students that require additional/intensive EAL support above and beyond the usual curriculum provision, support during the after school boarding Prep and additional pastoral mentoring in the Boarding house. *Please note that CSSP students do not pay the additional EAL charge as well as the CSSP fee. 3

BDST programme: (Korean Student Support Programme) This fee is charged to our Korean speaking students who require additional academic support after school which includes tutoring in Mathematics, English, Korean language, and Korean university counseling services. The fee is as follows: Primary student (Year 2-6) Secondary student (Year 7-13) Mathematics only option in Year 12 and Year 13 31,040 THB Per Term 34,500 THB Per Term 26,125 THB Per Term Please note that these BDST fees must be paid in full prior to the student receiving this service. Textbooks: Most textbooks are provided in lessons by the various academic departments where needed, but in some circumstances students have the option to purchase textbooks from the school shop or from external bookshops as advised. School Trips: In addition to the Residential Trip that is included in the normal tuition fees (subject to the 10% scholarship/bursary clause outlined above), students will be required to pay for additional curriculum trips throughout the academic year. School Bus Fees: This fee must be paid in full each term prior to getting the service. Please note that a student will not be allowed to board the school bus if the fee has not been paid in advance. Transcript Fees: Up to three transcripts will be provided free of charge to students who are leaving the school. Students who request additional transcripts are charged at THB 500 per transcript for processing, in addition to the actual postage/courier rates. Courier/Postage Costs (Year 11-Year 13): Parents will be billed a postage and handling charge for sending student applications to colleges/universities. Optional Additional Charges: Details of additional charges for music peripatetic lessons, golf, sports academies and other paid Extra Curricular Activities are available from the Finance office. Ning at bnatsanan@bromsgrove.ac.th Refunds Policy & Payment Procedures Enrollment Deposit/Notice of withdrawal: In order to receive the deposit back in full, one full term s notice in writing addressed to the Headmaster is required to withdraw a student. No refund of fees will be granted if students are asked to withdraw for serious disciplinary reasons. Tuition fees & Boarding fees: For students withdrawing at any time during an academic term, 4

Tuition fees & Boarding fees will be pro-rated where applicable. Meal Fees: The fee must be paid in full prior to receiving this service a child that has not paid the meals fee will not be permitted to eat in the dining room. The refund will be provided only for the non-usage full-term. EAL, BDST Programme & Chinese Student Support Programme fees: Due to the specialised nature of the individual student support given in these programmes no part of these fees is refundable at any time. School Bus Fees: A refund can only be given for a complete full term of non-usage of the service and not on a pro-rated basis. Late Payment Fee: Tuition, boarding and meal fees are all payable for all students termly in advance and students will not be able to access any academic services or attend lessons if monies are owed. Payment outside the invoice credit period is subject to 1.25% interest on the outstanding balance per month until payment is received.
