Instructor Perspective - Creating Content Instructors can easily create content via the home page, or from the course profile by using the Add Content dropdown The Topic allows you to organize any of the other elements into a cohesive unit, or lesson Import from Library allows an educator to reuse content from other courses
Instructor Perspective - Assignment Creation Assignment creation can be done quickly using simple forms More advanced functionality is present, but hidden. For instance, custom grading scales can be applied using the Grading options link Attachments can be easily added by using the File & Link/Embed links at the bottom of the form Any assignment can be copied Any assignment can be copied, upon creation, to any other course
Instructor Perspective - Assignment Profile After filling out the basic form, Schoology creates an interactive profile that allows for comments, attachments, and a dropbox for submitting and returning student work From the instructor perspective, the dropbox organizes student submitted work and indicates when actions are required (e.g. checkmark to indicate not yet graded)
Instructor Perspective - Test/Quiz Creation Creating an assessment is just as easy as creating an assignment First, the essential information is configured, such as the assignment title, total points, due date, etc. Next, the instructor is sent to a page to allow for question creation

Student Perspective - Assignment Profile Schoology maintains a consistent look-and-feel across all aspects of the site From an assignment profile, students can Upload Files to the Dropbox if enabled. Students can also quickly view their grade, if it is recorded. Students may not delete submissions to the dropbox, however they can choose to add updated files.
Student Perspective - Test/Quiz From the student view, if students are allowed to resume unfinished tests, they will see a Resume or Start again button. Hitting Start again would begin a new submission Instructors can view all student submissions
