{jkefel kefelui=[tabs] title=[programme Details]} Introduction Bachelor Degree of Accountancy (hons) first offered in UiTM sabah campus on Semester July 2009. The Program AC220 is mainly focusing on offering the final year Diploma in Accountancy students to further their studies in accounting. Students who have completed Diploma in Accountancy, UiTM will begin the programme at semester four (4) as they are eligible to credit transfer for semester 1, 2 and 3. This programme is fully recognized by the Government as a professional qualification, and other related bodies especially Malaysia Institute of Accountants (MIA) as a professional qualification. Recognition Holders of the Diploma in Accountancy (DIA) and Diploma In Accounting Information System (DAIS) from UiTM can proceed directly into the third semester of the Bachelor of Accountancy Programme level at the Faculty of Accountancy, Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM). Graduates can also further their studies at any local or foreign universities. Course Duration 1 / 11
4 years (full time) Assessment Candidates are continuously assessed based on tests, assignments, term papers, class participation and final examinations. Admission Requirement Full Time Programme Entry requirement: 1. Applicants with STPM with a Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of at least 3.00 in Accounting / Economics and any ONE (1) subject excluding General Studies. OR 1. Applicants with Asasi UiTM/Matriculation/PASUM with cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of at least 3.00 in any TWO (2) subjects indlucing Accounting / Economics and CGPA of at least 2.00 in any ONE (1) other subject. OR 1. Applicants with Diploma in Accountancy / Diploma in Accounting Information System from UiTM with CGPA of at least 2.75. Candidate with minimum CGPA 2.50 need to have at least two (2) year relevant working experience. OR 2 / 11
1. Applicants with Diploma in Business Studies, Diploma in Banking and Diploma in Investment Analysis from UiTM should have a minimum CGPA of 3.00. OR 1. Applicants with Diploma in Accountancy from other institutions (recognized by the Government) should have a minimum CGPA of 3.50. Candidate with minimum CGPA 3.00 need to have at least two (2) year relevant working experience. AND 1. passed SPM/equivalent with grade 5C in Mathematics/Add Mathematics and grade 6C in english 2.
