Where is ECTC? How do I get there? Four shifts/blocks Shift 1 8:13-9:17 ECHS, HHS, SEHS Shift 2 9:50-11:10 WHS (When openings available, WHS students will be allowed all shifts.) Shift 3 11:20-12:25 ECHS, HHS, SEHS Shift 4 1:30-2:35 ECHS, HHS, SEHS Students ride bus to and from campus in Wetumpka Classes at ECTC cover 2 periods five days a week Receive two (2) credits each year
ECTC Programs Where Do I Go From Here? Continuing Education: ALL programs lead to a college course of study at the 2 and/or 4 year level Straight to Workforce: ALL programs lead to entry-level career options (may require credential or CRI)
Credentials & CRIs Two levels of certifications can be earned in ECTC programs CREDENTIAL - certification often required by employer or considered as showing some proficiency in career field; some may be stacked to gain CRI Example: CPR, First Aid, OSHA 10 Hour CRI (Career Readiness Indicator) - certification recognized and requested by industry for students to gain entry-level employment in specific career fields Example: Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT)
