My Role I was team member of four who organized student competition and for that purpose along with the team members I shortlisted 10 groups of students out of 45. The students made their business plan presentations and then were short listed. I listened, commented and mentored the students on their business plan competition projects. 14 th March, 2017: Business Plan Competition Workshop and Business Project Mentoring at 2 nd International Business Forum at the University of Sharjah My Role: I delivered the workshop to 50 students on the business plan competition. Also I acted as mentor to their business projects from 13-15 th March on this event. Academic year 2015-16 16 th May, 2016 Public Speaking at Business Lunch & Learn event, organized by Event Marketing and Management class at University of Sharjah The speech was on the topic of Entrepreneurial Skills in UAE: bridging past, present and future. The event was attended by 110 students from different colleges of the University. Sole Supervisor of the event, Business Lunch & Learn: organized by Event Marketing and Management class at the college of Business Administration In this role, I instructed the students of the class to go through steps of organizing an event and executing the event at the University of Sharjah. 13 th 16 th December, 2015 Organized and conducted Entrepreneurship Week at the College of Business Adminstration. The event was participated by 300 students form different colleges of the University of Sharjah. In this role, I organized the designing and implementation of the event in cooperation with Dr. Syed. Laos I delivered the event from 14 th -17 th December, 2015. 22 nd November, 2015 Conducting Innovation Strategy Workshop at the College of Business Administration In cooperation with RUWAAD. The event was prepared jointly by me and Dr. Syed at the College, however delivery at the days of the event was done my me. 10
Delivering the workshop to 200 participants form different colleges of the University. In this role, I took all of the students through different steps of the Design Thinking Model of the Harvard Business School. 2014-15 16 th December, 2014 Organized a workshop, UOS alumni Entrepreneurship Day 2014 as sole organizer with Event Marketing and Management Class. Around 150 students from different colleges of the university participated in the event. In this event Alumni Entrepreneurs from different Colleges of the University participated to share their start-up companies and share with the students about the challenges faced by them.
