About Wibsey Urban Village Wibsey Urban Village covers the village area, the high street, around the park, St Paul s Avenue, the Briarwoods and roads off St Enochs & Moore Avenue. It is a partnership of local residents and local businesses. If you live or work in this area and want to get involved contact Anne Jackson (see contacts section at the back of the booklet). 1
As Chair and Vice Chair of the Wibsey Urban Village, we are pleased to present this Community Directory to every home in the Wibsey Ward. It has been produced to fulfil a need for information identified by local residents. Many people told us that there simply wasn t enough information about what activities and groups were available, we hope this directory meets that need. It made sense to include activities right across the ward. There are many local people who are heavily involved in groups throughout the community. We would like to pay tribute to all of those who are already working hard to improve their communities and to thank them for their cooperation and assistance in producing this booklet.
