Associate Lecturer and Researcher Universitat Pompeu Fabra 9. Recommendations Dr. Nettleton was my tutor during my final year undergraduate degree Project, which dealt with the statistical analysis of social network graphs. I highlight the excellent supervision and progress meetings, which motivated me and gave me interest in completing the work. The Project development was made easier by well chosen recommended reading and discussion of alternative solutions when necessary. In the post-project stage, Dr. Nettleton recommended that my Project be published in the RecerCAT scientific repository, and the work was adapted and presented as a paper which was subsequently published in a scientific congress. I am grateful to him as my tutor and recommend him to anyone who is interested in this field. I am sure they will have a solid support in which to base their work. 22 nd May 2012. Néstor Martínez Arqué, Student, Universitat Pompeu Fabra I've been working together with David at the UPF for some years. It has been easy and a pleasure to do so. David is very methodical in his work, and a proactive, organized investigator. 17 th January 2012. Joan Codina, part-time lecturer, Universitat Pompeu Fabra Consultant IBM Global Services I hired David because he was bringing to my team a deep knowledge on Business Intelligence. Once he was working for my team, I valued mainly his commitment in searching new solutions for our client's needs and testing them before issuing a recommendation. If David said "it works", all the team was convinced that the proposed solution was right. David tough work and brilliant contributions raised the quality of our recommendations. David worked in my team during 1998 and 1999. 15th November 2011. Xavier Navarro, Consulting Managing Principal, IBM Global Business Services 10
