The school participates in the Adopt-a- Highway program and we are due for a Spring cleaning. In the past, the middle school students have completed the clean up as a part of their required service hours. This year, we are asking parents, families, parishioners, and community members to help complete the clean up. The date for the clean up is Sunday, May 6 after Mass at 10:30 AM (weather permitting). If you are able to help out, please contact the school office and we will provide you with more information. Thank you for your help! ROAD CLEAN UP 3 SCRIP 3-4 LUNCH MENU 5 Catholic Community Foundation: The Catholic Community Foundation has as its mission to promote, sustain and enhance the mission of the Catholic Church, especially in southeastern Wisconsin. Through the generosity of this foundation, St. Paul Catholic Church & School has received a grant of $8,000 to be used for 2019-19 Tuition Assistance for those students unable to afford the full tuition for attending St. Paul Parish School. We would like to thank the Catholic Community Foundation for this grant and will use these funds to help them in their goal of promoting the mission of the Catholic Church. The committee will inform us when a decision has been made. Zoo Field Trip We will be taking an all-school field trip to the Milwaukee County Zoo on Friday, May 25! Permission slips for the event were sent home last week. The cost is $5.00 for students and $8.00 for chaperones. Checks should be made payable to St. Paul School. Everyone joining us for the field trip is asked to bring a disposable lunch and drink since we will be out of school from 8:35 AM - 2:00 PM. More information regarding the trip, including how to sign up to chaperone, will be sent out by your classroom teacher. FEDERAL TAX ID: 39-0913322 Popcorn Friday: Tomorrow, April 20, is Popcorn Friday sponsored by Student Council. Bags will sell for fifty cents or one dollar. Each order will receive free Jelly Belly Jelly Beans. Orders will be ready for K3 by morning snack, by 11:20 for half day students and by lunch time for all others. Only one more Popcorn Friday is left for this school year in May. School Spirit: Themed Thursday: Thursday, April 26 is the next Themed Thursday. Students may dress in "Crazy Mismatched" clothing, shoes, socks, etc. Students in K5 through grade 6 not wearing Mismatched clothing must wear their school uniforms. Remember to send in school spirit photos of students wearing their St. Paul shirt to the school office. The response has been terrific. Check out the school face book page to see all the different places in the community that school spirit is being displayed as well as other school activities.
