FTRE Terms & Conditions Note 1 : Cash scholarships, fee waivers for FIITJEE program & Hostel Fee Waiver will be decided on the basis of performance in written tests. All candidates will have to perform well in IQ, Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics and clear grand total cut-off as well as individual subject cut-offs Marks to be eligible. In case less than 500 Students score above the minimum eligibility marks, then the number of Students eligible for cash prizes will be altered respectively. Note 2 : The final discretion of award of cash scholarships, fee waivers for FIITJEE program & Hostel Fee Waiver in each case will remain with FIITJEE and this decision will be final and binding on the candidate. Note 3 : To get the Cash Scholarship & Hostel Fee Waiver one has to enroll in One Year Extended Classroom Program for JEE Advanced, 2015 (for batch commencing from 24th June, 2014). Note 4 : Total Cash Scholarship will be divided in equal quarterly installments and disbursed from July, 2014 to April, 2015. Note 5 : Minimum attendance of 90% and relative good performance in phase tests during the course will be a criterion for eligibility for continuity of disbursement of quarterly cash scholarship. The final discretion in each case will remain with FIITJEE and this decision will be final and binding on the candidate. Note 6 : Cash scholarships will be paid to students through a crossed cheque and shall be in favour of the student only. Note 7 : Hostel Fee Waiver are valid only for FIITJEE s associate hostels / lodging and boarding facilities made available through FIITJEE, subject to the student joining that particular hostel and availability of seats. The waivers will be given monthly between June, 2014 to April, 2015 and only for the duration of classroom / contact program. The Hostel Fee Waiver will be paid directly to the hostel owner by FIITJEE. Note 8 : Hostel fee waiver is for accommodation only. Food, transportation & other self expenses are to be borne by the students. Note 9 : FIITJEE Classroom Program students already enrolled in One Year Extended Classroom Program for JEE Advanced, 2015 can appear in FIITJEE Talent Reward Exam to find about their current level of preparation and their projected Rank in JEE Advanced, 2015. However, they will be entitled for cash scholarships only, and they will continue with their existing classroom program. The cash scholarship cannot be adjusted or refunded. Note 10 (a) : The registered office of FIITJEE Limited is at New Delhi. All disputes and differences of any nature with regard to the FTRE, subsequent enrollment and studies shall be referred to the Sole Arbitrator appointed by the Management of FIITJEE Ltd. The Arbitration proceedings shall be conducted in accordance with the provisions of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act 1996 and Statutory modification thereof and rules made thereunder. The award of the arbitrator shall be final & binding. The arbitrator so appointed shall not be incapacitated for reasons of their being the employee of FIITJEE Ltd. or its sister concern, and for reasons of having any prior linkage with the company. The seat of arbitration will be Delhi. All the parties - student / parents / guardian & FIITJEE agree that they shall not commence or maintain any action in a court of law relating to FTRE, subsequent enrollment & studies at FIITJEE except for enforcement of the arbitral award. All parties waive any right to appeal. This is needed for speedy redressal of issues & all parties agree to this. Terms & Conditions 1. For Physically Disabled: The benefit will be given to those candidates having at least 40% permanent physical disability in relation to a body part / system / extremity / extremities / whole body etc. for any category of disability (viz., Locomotor, visual, speech, and/or hearing). The Student has to submit an attested photocopy of the certificate issued by the Govt. General Hospital. FIITJEE management s decision in this regard will be final and binding. 2. The Scholarships on the basis of XII board performance / fee waivers / fee concession are valid only after qualifying FIITJEE s Admission Test of the respective program. 3. The final discretion of award of scholarships / fee waivers / fee concession in each case will remain with FIITJEE and the decision will be final and binding on the candidate. 4. The mentioned scholarships / fee waivers / fee concession are applicable for those Students who enroll themselves in FIITJEE Classroom Programs for JEE Advanced, 2015 till 10th August, 2014. 5. Any Student can avail only one of the Other Category Fee Waivers during his / her entire academic session at FIITJEE. 6. An eligible Student can get the combined benefit of any one of the Other Category Fee Waivers (as mentioned above) along with the Fee Concession for siblings of Present / Ex-FIITJEEians and Scholarship if awarded i.e. all the benefits can be compounded as stated in the following example. For example, if a physically disabled sister / brother of present FIITJEE Student who is already enrolled in any Classroom Program qualifies in our Admission Test with a scholarship of 50% on Tuition Fee and if the Tuition Fee of the Classroom program offered to the Student is Rs. 10,000/-, the final Tuition fee payable by the Student will be calculated as follows 1. Rs. 10,000 less 50% scholarship = Rs. 5,000/- 2. Rs. 5,000 less 25% (Physical Disability Waiver) = Rs. 3,750/- 3. Hostel Facility FIITJEE has furnished hostel / lodging & boarding facilities at the following FIITJEE centres viz. Delhi (South Delhi, North-West Delhi & East Delhi Centres), Amritsar, Bangalore, Bhilai, Bhopal, Bokaro, Chandigarh, Chennai, Hyderabad, Indore, Jaipur, Kolkata, Lucknow, Mumbai, Patna, Ranchi, Vijayawada & Visakhapatnam which is available for male Students only, on the basis of merit. The hostel expenditure to be paid by the Student is Rs. 5,000/- to Rs. 8,000/- per month approximately on double occupancy basis and varies from one hostel to another and city to city. Expenses are subject to revision as and when required without prior notice. FIITJEE also has hostel / lodging & boarding facilities for female Students at select FIITJEE centres. Appropriate assistance may be provided in locating paying guest accommodation for female Students at other locations. Students desirous of availing hostel facilities are required to deposit a sum of Rs. 7,500/- as refundable* security deposit alongwith two months expenses in advance at the time of joining.
