EA/EI REGIONAL CATHOLIC January 26, 2017 Volume 1: Issue 21 IT S APPLICATION TIME! This time of year, new families in our area are looking at schools for their little ones entering PK or Kindergarten. We began accepting applications in December and will send out letters for the first round of acceptances before the 1 st of February. A second round of acceptance letters will go out two weeks afterward. Families will then be accepted based on room availability. We are excited about this time of year and pray that families in our area consider Catholic schools for their children. As you talk with your friends and family in the community, let them know about the good things going on in your child s school. And remember, the Lagniappe program.. if they write your name on the application, you will receive a $200 check once they stay in the school system for a year. We would like to share some of the nice things we ve seen on applications so far. Our son attends St. John Primary and we have been nothing but pleased with the school. Not only do we see him learning and thriving academically, but also he s learning how to be respectful and kind. Our daughter has really thrived in PK at St. John Primary. We want her to continue to receive a quality education while being nurtured in her Catholic faith. We have enjoyed the close-knit caring environment this past year in PK. She loves all of her teachers, the faculty, and friends. We look forward to watching her grow up at SJP/STA. We have multiple friends whom have children enrolled at St. John Primary and have spoken very highly about the education as well as the religious programs.
