FAQs about TAG When will I find out if my TAG was approved? Students will be notified in November. Do I still need to apply to the UC after I submit my TAG? Yes, you are still responsible for completing the UC application for admission. Once I sign a TAG and apply to the university do I have to attend that specific university? No, you are not required to attend the university but the university where you submit a TAG should be one that you would be excited to attend. What if my TAG is denied, can I still apply for admission? Yes, you may still apply to UC through the regular admissions process. Do I need to submit official transcripts when I sign a TAG? No, all information submitted is self-reported but you should use your unofficial transcript to fill out the application. It is only after you are admitted to a university that you will be required to submit official records.
