When I fail to live up to my responsibilities help me to learn from my mistakes and correct the things I have done. Progress Reports Progress Reports for students in JK to Grade 8 will be sent home on Wednesday November 16th. These reports are meant to focus on your child s learning skills and the progress they have made to this point in the year. Interviews will be held the evening of November 17th and the morning of November 18th. Parent Teacher Interviews will be booked on line this year. Watch for details coming home next week. Each child s name will be entered into the many door prizes we provide at the fair with the Grand Prize of $25.00 worth of books from the fair. Night till 7:00) Location: Holy Family Library Financial Support for School Trips School trips are wonderful educational opportunities for all of our students. Throughout the school grades there are a number of free opportunities for our students, but often time a school trip comes with a financial cost. At Holy Family, we want to ensure that all students have the opportunity to participate in their class trip. If you find yourself in a situation where you are unable to cover the cost of the school trip, please let your child s teacher know, or the office know. We would like to help out and ensure that your child is able to take part in every possible opportunity. VOLUNTEERS WANTED If you have a few hours to spare morning or afternoon, we would appreciate your help at our Book Fair. Please let Mrs. Patterson or Ms. Millen know when you are available. Thank you again for your support. The Catholic Parent Involvement Committee of the BGCDSB has put together a collection of parent sessions to be held across our BGCDSB Schools throughout the school year. Topics include: Event + Meal Planning; Supporiting Youth Emotional Well-Being, School Heroes Unite, Elementary Workshop + Kindergarten; Families Who Play Together and Internet Safety (At Holy Family). Every family is invited to participate in all or some of the workshops. Parents will receive a passport to have punched at each event + have chances to win fabulous prizes at the May Session.
