Educational Trust in the year 2002. It is located on NH-67 about 13 kms from Karur on Coimbatore Road and spread across 50 acres of lush green campus. About the department: The department has highly educated Faculty members having a vast experience in their field. The department has a well-balanced workforce having experience in academics and in Industries. Students are given education as well as training exposure in order to get placed in highly reputed Industries. Symbiosis between placement cell and the Department help the students to achieve the best of the Jobs of their careers. Proper Industrial interaction is given to the students by organizing National level workshops in the Campus. In those events eminent personalities from industry and educational institutions were invited to the campus for student s interaction and guidance. The students had presented their talents in the form of practical projects and papers, which were seen and assessed by the invited personalities; they also had an interaction directly with the students in which they suggested measures to further improve the quality of the creativity. Exposure as well as training is provided to the students for advanced studies and various guest lecturers and Mock campus interviews are conducted time to time to facilitate the students and create awareness. Industry visits and practical projects are also encouraged by the department in various sectors; students are taken out to industries for practical understanding of the technology.

Our department has a fine blend of a team of qualified and experienced faculty and staff members. We are striving hard continuously to improve upon the quality of education and to maintain its position of leadership in engineering and technology. The department conducts various workshops, expert talks and additional training programs on recent trends in Electronics and communication engineering in collaboration with industries for the benefit of faculty and students. We are committed to give our students an environment where they develop critical thinking and problem-solving skills as they advance through the programme. The graduates of the Electronics and Communication Stream have been selected by some of the leading Indian counter parts. UG Programme The electronics and Communication has always been one of the most sought after programme. Globalization has brought the world closer and has triggered an unprecedented growth in the field of communications. B.E. Electronics and Communication Programme imparts rudimental knowledge about communication engineering and allows students to gain considerable command over various processes like VLSI, VHDL, Embedded Technology and Microprocessor Technology to become an integrated part of software engineering in the fields of telecommunication and medical electronics. PG Programme M.E.Applied Electronics course facilitates the Engineers to meet the challenging needs of the Industries. Subjects like Integrated Circuit Technology, System Design using IC s orient Engineers to undergo rigorous training in complex design and fabrication problems. This specialized course prepares Engineers to cope with the requirements of Industries specializing in High-end Communication Systems. After completion, students find employment in IT industry, Defense laboratories, Electronics Design, Research and Academia, etc.
