Instructions / Expectations This work packet is your guide for the second half of the India Unit in Global Studies. Some of it this packet will be review, other parts will be new, and lastly, this work packet will serve as a study guide for the India Unit Common Assessment. How wonderful is this? You are getting the study guide early! Be sure to take advantage of this opportunity. Your goal is to have this work packet completed by Tuesday, November 27 th. This means, you have from now until after Thanksgiving Break to finish this packet. Right now, this may seem like plenty of time, and you will be tempted to put off the work. However, if you start working on this right away, there will be no homework for the Thanksgiving Break. Do not let this work packet overwhelm you. If you pace yourself and finish a section one section per day, it can certainly be done by the due date. This assessment is meant to prepare you for the India Unit Common Assessment. There will be no exceptions for late work. All work packets will be collected no later than the end of the day on November 27 th. Grading This work packet will be graded when turned in. British Rule British rule began with the heavy influence of the British East India Company. Use this portion of the work packet to review the British rule of India after the Mughal Empire.
