Moxie Contemporary Ballet Summer Intensive 2015 Portland State University Moxie Contemporary Ballet offers dancers chaperoned (room & board) housing at Portland State University in their newly built Broadway dorm building. While it is an option that many dancers choose, it is not required that Moxie Summer Intensive dancers live at the dorms. Some dancers choose to commute or make other living arrangements in Portland. Chaperones Dancers staying at PSU are supervised by our carefully selected Moxie Ballet Chaperones, along with PSU front desk staff. Chaperone ratio is 1 per 7 dancers (12-17 years) and will live at the dormitories with the students. A resident assistant (RA) is provided for dancers 18 and over (1 per 20 dancers). They oversee the student body day and night, coordinating and carrying out daily activities, which include nightly room checks, traveling to and from Moxie Ballet, and fun field trip excursions on the weekends. Getting Around Moxie Ballet's new 17,000 square foot building is located just off of the I-5 next to Bridgeport Village easily accessible by the Tri-Met bus.
