Wow, what a brilliant transition I have had to Warrandyte PS! I have already been so incredibly impressed by the commitment of our staff, the engagement levels of our students and the ongoing support from our parents and wider community. Thank you each and every one of you for being so supportive and caring. My first few days at Warrandyte have flown by and I have enjoyed every minute of it. Much of my time has been spent visiting classrooms and moving around the school talking to students and staff. I would also love to catch up with as many parents as possible, so please make a time to come and introduce yourself and say hello. SALLY Henhouse Helpers Margory Joan Lapworth OAM Yesterday I attended the funeral of Margory Lapworth. She died on 7 April this year. Her funeral was held at Inglewood Estate in Kangaroo Ground. Ryan Smith, MLA for Warrandyte gave a tribute to Margory as did Robert Edwards, Treasurer of the Rotary Club of Warrandyte and Donvale. Many parents will remember Margory from the Warrandyte Community Market as she donated money to the school for many projects including the Graduation Awards.
