Local Recognition of HKDSE Universities Heads of Universities Committee (HUCOM) issued a statement to confirm its support for all the 4 core subjects to be considered as mandatory minimum requirements for university requirement Level 3 for Chinese Language and English Language Level 2 for Mathematics and Liberal Studies 2005 Universities announced specific requirements for admission to individual faculties and departments (In addition to the 4 core subjects, universities will include one to two elective subjects in their entrance requirements) 2006 HUCOM indicated that Student Learning Profile will be considered as a good reference document in the admission process 2008
