Local Recognition of HKDSE Universities Heads of Universities Committee (HUCOM) issued a statement to confirm its support for all the 4 core subjects to be considered as mandatory minimum requirements for university requirement Level 3 for Chinese Language and English Language Level 2 for Mathematics and Liberal Studies 2005 Universities announced specific requirements for admission to individual faculties and departments (In addition to the 4 core subjects, universities will include one to two elective subjects in their entrance requirements) 2006 HUCOM indicated that Student Learning Profile will be considered as a good reference document in the admission process 2008

International Recognition of HKDSE Australia Recognised the level of HKDSE is comparable to that of the Australian Senior Secondary Certificate of Education UK HKDSE has been included in the UCAS Tariff Level 5 is comparable to Grade A in the GCE A Level Level 3 is comparable to Grade E in the GCE A Level A survey is being conducted to collect admission information regarding requirements for the HKDSE in the latter half of 2010.
