What is CECE? CECE is a employers organization founded in 1977 that represents an ample education and training companies in Spain. It has branches all over the Autonomous Communities via Federations and Associations. In addition, CECE contains about 5.000 Education Centres, the population is around one million of students and sixty thousand teachers.

Main objectives To coordinate and unite forces in an attempt to face common problems. To conceive and maintain its own service to the members. To encourage private initiative. To represent its members in the negotiation of pacts, agreements and collective agreements so as to establish relations with professional organizations that represent the teaching and other staff of the centres as well as with public entities

OMAT The World Organization of Arts and Mechanics. AEDIS The Association of Companies of the Disabled. FECI The Association of Child Education

Institutional representation Institutional presence in the Spanish Confederation of Employers Associations and in other national and international organizations of which it forms part. (CEOE) Representation in the General Council of Professional Education. Representation in the Scholar State Council. Representation of the centres in the Quality of Spain Management Club where the CECE is present in the Government and Executive Commissions.

The Educational Techniques Institute of Cece (Ite-cece) The ITE-CECE is Research and Management Institute. This Institute was created by an agreement in co-operation with the Ministry of Education to provide training for all the staff implicated in the Educational sector. It provides: Lifelong learning Courses Content design for elearning Educational Contest Training Seminars Lectures Conferences

Technology for Education The Institute, that access supplier to Internet for the schools, also carries out activities and projects in relation with specific needs and services that are offered to the enterprises: European projects and educational networks: Netdays, eschola, etwinning Technology and assessment for New Technologies in Education Services of animation and creation of systems of virtual training. Distribution of software licences of educational and professional nature Hardware/software maintenance To conclude agreements with the providers of technology for schools Initiated the first integral project of introduction of technologies and information systems in schools using: Publications

Training Services The main ambition of the training department of the ITE of the CECE is to deliver lifelong learning courses to all the workers of the Education Sector. Elaboration, development and delivery of Lifelong learning courses geared to the needs of staff in schools and other educational institutions Negotiation and evaluation of strategic lines and national projects of the lifelong learning, being member of Equal Commissions of FORCEM of educational sectors such as that for children, private education, special education, etc. National funds management (FORCEM, MECD, Education Advisory, and other organisms) to carry out training projects within the sector.

European Projects The European Educational Network created in 1995 by the ITE and integrated in the CECE, is an association of Spanish educational centres that bring into evidence their interest and willingness to integrate the policy and activities of the European Union. These centres receive information on recent trends and programmes of the European Union, search associates, elaborate projects, effectuate exchanges, etc. with the help of institutional services developed by the institute. During the last few years the CECE has worked over numerous projects such us Leonardo, Socrates, DGEAC

European Projects Since 1996 CECE has been developing educational projects and competitions within European grants as:

European Associations CECE is associated to the following international organisations: Organisation Internationale pour le Développement de la Liberté D'einseignement (OIDEL) European School Headmaster Association (ESHA) European Forum for Technical and Vocational Education and Training (EFVET) European Council of National Associations of Independent Schools (ECNAIS)

Quality Education The QUALITY FOR EDUCATION PROGRAMME directed by The Educational Techniques Institute of the Spanish Confederation of Teaching Centres (ITE- CECE) has already many years of experience behind it. The network of consultants is active in all the autonomous Communities of Spain. To update and apply the European Quality Model to these companies. To maintain the network of quality evaluators in education. Study and information releases. To organize special events, etc. Every year the CECE organises the European Quality Week in the non-university educational sector with massive presence in all the Spanish provinces

PRESS DEPARTMENT The dissemination strategy aims to raise awareness, share understanding, and promote involvement and implementation of project outcomes through: Actualidad Docente Magazine; CECE publishes a bymonthly magazine CECE Annual Conference Internet Dissemination; mainly by Project s web site, as a channel of permanent communication Link in CECEs website: www.cece.es; http://cecedisseminateeurope.blogspot.com/ http://es.youtube.com/user/ceceineurope Diffusion of it in search engines; sending e-mails to all mailing lists of the Europe Department: with links to the site and a short explanation of why it will be interesting to them. European Associations; CECE is member of EFVET, ESHA and ECNAIS, European Associations connected to education. The European department spread all Project information to these Associations.

AMF FOUNDATION CECE s educational profile has widened with the set up of its Foundation (Fundación Ángel Martínez Fuertes) in 1996 that focuses its activities on; social inclusion through training of unemployed persons, persons over 45, women, disabled people, immigrants.
