This workshop discusses the roles of the mentor and intern, communicating expectations, and communication strategies. The goal is to improve the mentor/ intern working relationship and creating a positive learning environment. 2003/2004 Milford School District Teacher Action Research This year long course was offered to partnership teachers. They developed their own research project and conducted action research in their classrooms.
2003/2004 Milford School District Inquiry Researching: Teaching Informative Reading and Writing to Young Children through Researching This course was taught to elementary partnership teachers. The participants used what they learned in the course to revise the district's social studies curriculum. 2000-present Inquiry Researching: Integrating Language Arts and Content Area Learning This was a two-day workshop for middle school teachers.
