NICE BNF and BNFC Apps for Apple and Android Devices The NICE BNF and BNFC apps are available to NHS Wales staff from the Apple App Store and Google Play Store. The apps provide downloadable content, and can operate even if there is no network access. To activate, you will need to log in using your Athens ID and password. Health for Health Professionals Wales Support for doctors with health problems The Health for Health Professionals (HHP) Wales Helpline is a new face-toface counselling service for all doctors in Wales. Provides doctors with access to a therapist accredited by the British Association of Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapies in their own area. Service is confidential, and is fully funded for doctors in Wales by the Welsh Government. Welsh Laparoscopic Colorectal Training Scheme (WLCTS) The Training Scheme is aimed at all surgical staff specialising in colorectal surgery from ST3 to consultant level, theatre staff, SCPs, ODPs and anaesthetists. Royal College of Surgeons of England Core Skills in Laparoscopic Surgery Aimed at Basic Surgical Trainees prior to HST General Surgery Rotation and SpR Year 1, this course is recommended for anyone wishing to take any of the Training Scheme courses. Left Side Resection Course This one-day course is aimed at ST5/6 and above, and concentrates on left-sided resections. For Welsh trainees, it is followed by visits to faculty hospitals for a day, assisting on an appropriate list. Right Side Resection Course This two-day course is aimed at ST3/4 and more senior grades wishing to develop laparoscopic skills. For Welsh trainees, this is followed by visits to faculty hospitals, assisting on appropriate lists. Looking to get back to working as a Dental Therapist? The WDTFT Programme is focused on providing the training and education required to integrate as a Dental Therapist in General Dental Practice.
