TALENTS³ Fellowship Programme: the 2nd call for proposals year 2016: 2nd phase of the Programme 3 outgoing research grants to carry out projects at a foreign scientific institution or enterprise developing R&D activities, located in the territory of the EUSAIR or the EUSALP macro-regional strategies (Activity 1), with mandatory return to Friuli Venezia Giulia region -> activity addressed to researchers resident in the Friuli Venezia Giulia region 4 incoming research grants to carry out projects at one of the scientific institutions belonging to the CER - Coordination Network of Research institutions of Friuli Venezia Giulia or at one of the enterprises established in the regional territory and implementing R&D activities -> activity addressed to researchers resident in the territories part of the EUSAIR and of the EUSALP macro-regional strategies (Activity 2)

Beneficiaries of the outgoing mobility scheme (Activity 1) Requirements for eligibility being ordinarily resident in Friuli Venezia Giulia region being in possession of a PhD or at least 3 years of full-time research activity (not eligible time spent in doctoral studies!!!) not to have a permanent position as employee ( contratto a tempo indeterminato ) international mobility criterion: beneficiaries must not have lived or carried out their main activity (study, work, etc.) in the country of the host organization for more than 12 months in the 3 years previous to the call deadline
Beneficiaries of the incoming mobility scheme (Activity 2) Requirements for eligibility being ordinarily resident in EUSAIR/EUSALP countries being in possession of a PhD or at least 3 years of full-time research activity (not eligible time spent in doctoral studies!!!) international mobility criterion: beneficiaries must not have lived or carried out their main activity (study, work, etc.) in the country of the host organization for more than 12 months in the 3 years previous to the call deadline

Start on the 01/04/2017 End on the 30/09/2018 Duration 18 months Amount of fellowships Incoming: 3.352,50 monthly gross salary Outgoing: 2.910,00 monthly gross salary + 980,95 (mobility allowance) for the outgoing phase only, in the EUSALP countries Fellows will sign a contract for the fellowship with AREA Science Park and will develop their research projects at the host institutions Fellowships cover the researchers salary!!

Characteristics of the host institutions Activity 1: Outgoing mobility scheme Outgoing phase: a University, a School of advanced studies or a superior graduate school, a research centre or a consortium of research institutions, with legal and operational headquarters in the territory included in the macroregional EUSAIR and EUSALP Strategies or enterprise with have legal and operational headquarters in the same territory Return phase: a research institution belonging to the CER - Coordination Network of research institutions (see Appendix I to the call for proposals) or enterprise involved in R&D activities with operational headquarters in FVG Activity 2: Incoming mobility scheme a research institution belonging to the CER - Coordination Network of research institutions (see Appendix I to the call for proposals) or an enterprise involved in R&D activities with operational headquarters in FVG INVOLVEMENT OF ENTERPRISES!
General indications Application, Form A: indicate both one of the 5 scientific areas and one of the 5 technological area of the Smart Specialisation Strategy!! Every candidate can submit only one research proposal. The same organisation can be present in different proposals, but these proposals have to be submitted by different candidates In Activity 1 (outgoing mobility scheme) host institutions in the outgoing phase must be different from the host institutions in the return phase Applications must be signed by candidates and countersigned by the scientific institutions or by the enterprises where the submitted research project will be implemented (Form A)
