It will provide a window to our students and esteemed teachers to present a glimpse of the activities that they have been organising with utmost devotion and team spirit. We, in KVS, are guided by the principle that every child is an invaluable human resource whose growth and development is a determinant of the peace and progress of the country. Vidyalaya plays an important and special role in transforming knowledge into wisdom of students because it organizes various activities and Newsletter is one of them a platform to harness and sharpen their hidden talents. The Newsletter is like a vast canvas on which the students painted with skillful strokes and vivid colours with their innovative and creative artistic expressions in the form of art, poetry, write ups etc. I, from the editorial desk, pay my sincere thanks my philosopher, guide and Guru worthy Principal sir and colleagues for their endless endeavours. Readiness Programme: Five weeks School Readiness Programme for class I was started from 5 th April, 2017. It also helped to develop a familiar environment to the students. Orientation Programme-Class I : The Parents Teachers Meeting of Class- First was conducted under the guidance of the Principal and by the teachers to promote better understanding between parents & teachers and to get acquainted with the school curriculum. ART & CRAFT जन द मद न क क र ड बन ओ प रत य ग 5 मई 2017 The Birthday Card Making Competition was held on 5 th May 2017. The beautiful Birthday Cards made by the students attracted everybody. Drawing Competition was held in the Vidyalaya on Save Water. The children made the best use of their imagination and made heart touching drawings. Parents Teachers Meeting: PTM for Primary Section was organised in the vidyalaya on 26 st August 2017 at 8 AM to 10.30 AM. Parents of classes I-V attended the meeting. Class teachers and subject teachers of respective classes conducted the meeting under the guidance of Principal sir. The meeting was conducted as per the agenda. CELEBRATIONS Drawing Competition on Glorious 70 Years of Independence Day Teachers Day Celebration (5/9/17) Teachers Day, auspicious occasion for teachers, was celebrated as the birthday of Dr. Sarvapalli Radha Krishnan, Hon able 2 nd President of India. His portrait was garlanded and brief biography was given as well. 4
Independence Day Celebration 15 th August 2017 Community Lunch: Community Lunch was organised in the vidyalaya. It was organised in all the Primary Classes by the students and class teachers to make the students learn life skills and contribute to the well being of the group. They learnt about healthy eating habits, sense of community feeling, working together as a team and sharing food with other children. CMP Room Our vidyalaya have a well maintained CMP Room. It is used by the Primary Teachers to teach students and enable them to learn easily through various activities. Mathematical Park: Our vidyalaya have a well maintained Mathematical Park. It is used by the Teachers to conceptualise the basic knowledge of children in respect of square, rectangle, triangle, cylinder and cone. Children Park: Our vidyalaya have a well maintained Children Park in which sufficient numbers of various play equipments are arranged to cater the young buddies. Besides teaching, it pleases them and develops a sense of brotherhood among them. 13
Class First Display Board Health Check-up Programme Health Check-up of primary Children was arranged by the Vidyalaya in the Month of September 2017 under the guidance of CMO, Sawai Madhopur (Rajasthan). A team of expert doctors did the health check of every child and given valuable suggestions. 14
