CREDIT RECOVERY OPTIONS Credit Recovery Exam - failing grade in course is between 60-69% Exams are given at AHS with Credit Recovery Teacher. Online Credit Recovery (Edgenuity) failing grade in course below 60%. May be enrolled in a credit recovery class during the school day. Work can be done after school/from home as well. Students will receive a credit recovery grade of P for passing and F for failing for any credit recovery online class or credit recovery test Or a student may re-enroll in a failed course to earn credit Edgenuity Online Credit Recovery is not an approved non-traditional course option with NCAA. Student athletes are encouraged to reenroll in any failed course.
STAAR EOC TESTING Students must take and pass English 1 English 2 Algebra 1 Biology US History to be eligible for graduation. Early Decision plans are binding a student who is accepted as an ED applicant must attend the college. Early Action plans are nonbinding students receive an early response to their application but do not have to commit to the college until the normal reply date of May 1. Early applications look favorable and may be considered for scholarships

AHS LOCAL SCHOLARSHIP: November 2017 - Local Scholarships available online We will notify parents through e-news and social media as soon as the link is available. If we are able to access parent emails through our new student database, we will add email messages to the notification process. Students compete with fellow AHS/AISD seniors Local Scholarships are all electronic and will be completed online. January 19, 2018 -Deadline to turn in Announcement of scholarship recipients will take place at the Senior Awards Night.
