Wyoming Flag Football League The Wyoming Flag Football League is designed for players in grades 1-6 to compete and develop the skills involved with football, while learning the different concepts of the game, teamwork and sportsmanship. The league is designed to let players participate and compete in a fun and exciting atmosphere! The Wyoming Flag Football League is operated by Head Coach Aaron Hancock, Assistant Coaches and Players. Participants will be grouped by grades (1-6), the major focus is on playing flag football games. Players will be placed on a team and will get to participate in at least four different flag football games a night. Each team will have a coach with designed plays to help each team learn the game of football while experiencing success and having maximum participation from every member of the team. Each player will receive a camp T-shirt. Sample Schedule: 4:00-4:10: Dynamic Warm up 4:10-4:20: Draft teams and review rules 4:20-4:40: Game 1 4:40-4:45: Water break 4:45-5:05: Game 2 5:05-5:10: Water break 5:10-5:30: Game 3 5:30-5:35: Water break 5:35-5:55: Game 4 5:55-6:00: All up! Recognize the great performances of the night. WHO: All students entering grades 1-6 WHEN: Sunday Nights- June 3, June 10, June 17 TIME: 4-6pm WHERE: : Bob Lewis Stadium/Bernie Barre Field WHAT to bring: Gym shoes/cleats, gym type shorts, t-shirt and a water bottle. Wyoming Football Fun Camp 2018 The Wyoming Football Fun Camp is designed for each player to develop the physical skills involved with football, while learning the different concepts of the game, teamwork and sportsmanship. The camp is designed to teach the fundamentals of football in a fun and exciting atmosphere! The Wyoming Football Fun Camp is a non-contact camp ran by Wyoming High School Head Coach Aaron Hancock, Assistant Coaches and Players. Participants will be grouped by grades (1-8), and instruction will include all phases of individual skills and proper techniques for the different positions. Flag football tournaments, Cowboy football tournaments and other activities will take place. Each camper will receive a camp T-shirt. Beyond the football drills, the camp will also feature daily contests! WHO: All students entering grades 1-8 WHEN: Monday, June 4th Friday, June 8th 12:00pm-2:30pm WHERE: : Bob Lewis Stadium/Bernie Barre Field WHAT to bring: Gym shoes/cleats, gym type shorts, t-shirt and a water bottle. Boys Basketball Camp June 18-21 Grades 2 nd - 8 th 9:00am -12:00pm Gym Camp: For players going into grades 2 nd -5 th and 6 th -8 th. Players will be introduced to basic skills such as shooting, dribbling, and passing. Players will be taught drills to work on at home as well to further their skill level. We will also have dribbling contest, modified games and 5 on 5 games. Players will be divided up by grade and skill level. Instructors: coaching staff & members of the Cowboy s basketball teams. Wyoming Wrestling Camp 2018 Head Coach Bobby Lyons, Assistant Coach Aaron Hancock will lead participants in a great three days of wrestling! Campers will focus on the critical skills necessary to be a champion, as well as the mental toughness and strategy needed to be the best they can be! The Wyoming Wrestling Camp is structured to develop great wrestlers and to help athletes learn and enjoy our great sport! Campers will be grouped by grade, weight and experience. Instruction will include fundamentals to advanced techniques. Neutral: stance, tie ups, set ups, takedowns and finishes. Top: breakdowns and pinning combinations. Bottom: escapes and reversals. Each camper will receive a camp t-shirt. In addition to wrestling drills, campers will participate in fun and exciting games! NO WRESTLING EXPERIENCE NEEDED!!!
