It is located near several beautiful islands (e.g. Perhentian, Redang, etc.) that are rich with marine life. The area can be explored through exciting recreational activities including hiking, snorkeling, and scubadiving.
Business & Marine Science In Malaysia About this Program This 3 week program covers a wide range of topics which introduce the participants to the socio-economic aspects of the Malaysian, the Malaysian people, cultures and exotic marine life. Students will gain exposure in intellectual exchange, have a better understanding of the cultural, economic and social systems of Malaysia, foster networking among international friends and be able to earn course credits. At the end of the program participants will have an understanding of the basic structure of the Malaysian economy, its transformation over time and the factors that drive the transformation, the Halal Supply Chain Model, the Islamic Finance as well as the business framework and the branding in Malaysia. With an aim to go beyond academics, the program offers visits to industries which give platform to the participants to be exposed to the real business practices and interact with the players in the industries. Industrial Visit is an excellent opportunity for participant to learn about the Malaysian industrial environment its business strategy and key success factors. On the final week, participants will have the opportunity to experience close encounters with exotic marine life while learning to understand on the importance of marine diversity conservation. Language & Marine Science In Malaysia About This Program This three week short term program is designed for students who wish to learn foreign languages outside their home country and gain experience in cultural enrichment activities. Students would get the opportunity to get engaged in interdisciplinary educational programs by attending classes that have a wide range of topics: Introduction to Malaysia and its people, English and Malay Language with practical classes, cultural immersion sessions and the Malaysian marine science. Students will gain exposure in intellectual exchange, have a better understanding of the cultural, economic and social systems of Malaysia, foster networking among international friends and be able to earn course credit. At the end of the program, students will be able to learn more about Malaysia, its people and culture, gain dynamic communicative skills and confidence in English Language, experience the campus life in the city of Kuala Lumpur. On the last week of the program, participants will have the opportunity to explore the best marine life of Malaysia and experience the beaches, coastal trails and fishing villages of the east coast area of the Malaysian Peninsula. They will also experience close encounter with exotic marine life while learning to understand its importance and gain awareness on the importance of conservation of marine diversity.
