SEPTEMBER-NOVEMBER GPIS #11 MYP NEWSLETTER SCHOOL YEAR 2013-2014 First Day of School Year 2013-2014 With the start of the 2013-2014 school year, the Middle School s objective is Enjoy Learning. " We aim to create a community of learning, in which students enjoy, not only learning, but also the learning process. MYP students have the opportunity to participate in extra curricular activities, such as the Model United Nations, competitive sport, as well as community & service activities. Through such activities students develop confidence in the public arena, acquire character, form solid study habits, and prepare to become members in the global community. " MYP teachers have a strong commitment to develop the student in a holistic manner. They work towards enhancing student learning opportunities and educational outcomes through the understanding of students strengths and areas in need of further development. Our aim is to enhance our students profiles, performance, and satisfaction." The parent s association, GMPA, has been created to collaboratively work with parents in order to help students reach their full potential, enhance their skills, and boost their creativity. I truly encourage parents to be a part of this association. " Your participation will make a difference!
