The Faculty of Social Work Educational Equity Initiative: The purpose of this Educational Equity Initiative is to achieve equality in professional education so that no person shall be denied educational opportunities or benefits for reasons unrelated to ability. Definitions of Educational Equity Priority Groups: Canadian Aboriginal Peoples Aboriginal peoples are all indigenous people of Canada including: First Nations, Métis, and Inuit.
