The University of California Summer Institute for Emerging Managers and Leaders (SIEML) is an allexpenses paid, career-building fellowship that provides intensive week-long training to students from Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCU) and Hispanic Serving Institutions (HSI). As a participant in the program, you will learn from world-class educators from six University of California graduate schools of business. You will have the chance to meet industry leaders in one of the country's most thriving hubs for enterprise and innovation. You will participate in dynamic, handson workshops that will immerse you in principles of business and entrepreneurship, and help you build analytical, technical and management expertise. You will gain exposure to opportunities for career development and pursuit of a graduate degree in business. And you ll make valuable connections with SIEML Fellows, alumni and staff.
