A Vibrant Life Sacred Heart College Kyneton Uniform 2018
INTRODUCTION At Sacred Heart College we strive to be a vibrant learning community where our students thrive. Learning and Teaching are the most important things we do. A pre-condition to successful schools is to establish an orderly environment where we have high expectations and nurturing relationships. Uniform is an important aspect to how we express ourselves and the pride we take in our College to which we belong. Wearing the uniform correctly is a positive step to reaching our goals and should be a simple process of following the rules. The rules firstly need to be clear to all, and accountability then follows to maintain consistency. As such we provide the following rules to assist in wearing the College uniform correctly. Keeping it simple, we focus on learning and the values that we want to see all our students embrace in our Catholic College based on our Mercy Tradition. Regards Craig Holmes PRINCIPAL
Year 12 in 2018 UNIFORM SCHEDULE 2018 These students are permitted to wear the old College uniform into Year 12, and will be the last group to do so. The blue blazer can be worn if this is what a student currently has in Year 11. Students normally opt for the specific Year 12 jumper with their name in Year 12. This will be the last year with a separate Year 12 tie as an option. If opting for the new uniform it needs to be complete with the exceptions stated for current Year 10 students below. Year 11 in 2018 In fairness to families, we are permitting Year 11 students in 2018 to retain their existing school jumpers and burgundy blazers if they are in good condition and fitting appropriately. The blue blazer is not an option. Students normally opt for the specific Year 12 jumper with their name when in Year 12. Students will be required to purchase the new uniform (skirts, dresses, shirts and ties, etc) which they will keep for the two years and then have the option of selling these items as second-hand uniform. Existing sports/pe uniform can be retained. Year 10 in 2018 These students are required to be in the complete new school uniform in 2018. Existing sports/ PE uniform can be retained. Year 7, 8 & 9 in 2018 Continue with new school uniform. If you seek further clarification please contact the Uniform Shop or your students Year Level Leader.
