How to Create a SCORM-compliant course Watch our Video Tutorial on How to Create an Online Course, or follow the steps to follow. Step 1: Go to the Content tab from the main navigation bar on the homepage of the Administrative dashboard Step 2: Click Courses from the side navigation bar in the Content tab Step 3: Select the green button Add New to add a new course

How to Create a SCORM-compliant course Step 4: Select Online Course from the course type dropdown Step 5: Fill out course information: Enter a name for the course Add the duration of the course (minutes) Select the box if you d like to make certificates available Select the box if you d like to make the social buttons available Add search terms under Tags Select from a drop down of surveys if you d like to associate a survey with the course Make sure the Active field is selected to ensure that your course will be live Step 6: *E-commerce feature only* Select the box Require payment to enable e- commerce for a course Select a Lease Expiration interval Select a Lease Price to indicate the cost of the course

Step 11: Select the Add New button to a add a new course offering, or: Select the Roster button to view which learners have registered for the instructorled course Select the Edit button to modify the offering Select the Delete button to remove the offering

How to Create an Instructor-led course Step 12: Add offerings to your instructorled course after your course framework has been saved by selecting the green Offerings button on the Courses view. Step 10: Enter information about the course offering: Enter the Start Date and Time of the instructorled course Enter the End Date and Time of the instructorled course Enter the time zone of the location in which the course will be offered Select an Instructor from the drop down Enter a Location for the instructor-led course Enter in the number of available seats Enter in any additional notes for the learners to see Step 11: Save the offering and proceed to create any additional offerings. Once you have entered in all available offerings for your instructor-led course your course is ready to go!

Step 11: Add a new document by: Entering the Document Title Entering a File Name Selecting the Browse button to upload a file from your computer Press Save

How to Create a Self-study course Step 12: Navigate back to the Courses tab and navigate to the course framework you created and select the green button Docs Step 13: Use the green arrow key to add an Available Document to an Enrolled Document Step 14: Check the box to enable LMS tracking after a user downloads a course Step 15: Press Save and your course is ready to go!

How to Add Learners to your Account Step 1: Go to the Users tab from the main navigation bar on the homepage of the Administrative dashboard Step 2: Click Add New User from the side navigation bar in the Users tab Step 3: Fill out User Information and Save! All directions marked * are required Enter in the user s email address* Enter in the user s First and Last name* Enter in the user s Business Country Enter in the user s Business Name Enter in the user s Business Address, city, state and zip code Enter in the user s Business Phone Number Check the box to indicate that the new user is an Instructor Select Administrative access level from the dropdown menu (if any) Check to make sure the Active field is checked Enter a Password for the Learner*

How to Assign Learners to a Learning Path Step 1: Go to the Users tab from the main navigation bar on the homepage of the Administrative dashboard Step 2: Click Manage Users from the side navigation bar in the Users tab Step 3: Enter in user information to search for a user (ex. enter in the Username) and select the Search button Step 4: Select the Edit button for the User

How to Assign Learners to a Learning Path Step 4: Select the user role from the Custom Dropdown One (ex. Manager) Note: This custom drop down will vary customer to customer and will have a title that accurately reflects the user attribute selected by the administrative team at the time of LMS deployment Step 5: Select the user department from the Custom Dropdown Two (ex. Sales) Step 6: Save and your learner will be assigned all courses that correlate to the Sales department for the role of Manager

Things to Know as New User Fun facts that will make your life easier

Fun Facts An administrator will have two views of the LMS, an Administrative view and a Learner view. The administrative view is accessed by entering the domain of your LMS and adding /admin (ex. www.yourcompany.knowledgeanywhere.com/admin) From the Admin view: Create courses, learning paths, surveys, and group messages, add users, view and download reports, and more. A learner will not have access to the Administrative view. From the Learner view: Preview, take and register for courses, view transcript and certificates earned, and more. An administrator is eligible for first-tier support through our Help Center and can submit a support request through the Administrative view of the LMS located in the footer. Learners are not eligible for first-tier support from Knowledge Anywhere. Should an administrator forget his/her password, the administrator can request a new one from the administrative Homepage underneath the Sign In button
