Photographic Presentation Series 2008-Present Created a program designed to bring to Richland College local, national, and internationally known photographers such as Arno Minkkinen, Keith Carter, Joyce Tenneson, Jerry Uelsmann, and Maggie Taylor, Mary Ellen Mark, Ralph Gibson, Jock Sturges, Mitch Dobrowner and John Sexton. Co-Creator Sponsored event with the Texas Photographic Society 2016 Public Presentation & Booksale, iphone Artistry Workshop, and Juried Exhbition by photographer Dan Burkholder in the Richland College Brazos Gallery, entitled FotoTexas: People, Places, & Culture Photographic Site Leader 2008 Saratov International Photography Exhibition Saratov State University in Russia. This cross-cultural artistic exchange required the creation of a call for entries from Richland College students, faculty, and staff; organizing the collection of hundreds of files, and judging of entries to be exhibited in Russia. Site Leader for Faces of America Project 2000-2002 A national project sponsored by the National Endowment for the Humanities in order to bring history alive for families and communities. Photography Workshop in New Mexico Creation of a 3 week, May-Term Photography Workshop of which the first week is spent photographing in New Mexico. Students produce portfolios and an exhibition of their work is provided by a prominent Dallas gallery. 1995-Present Paragon Award 1994 First Place Gold in a nationwide college competition for the creation of the Richland College photographic/imaging brochure entitled A Unique Experience. Instructional Development Grant 1992 Creation of a departmental photographic lab manual. Richland College Instructional Development Grant 1990 Creation of a photographic slide library housing over 3500 slides representing over 90 photographic artists. Richland College Vice-President of Education for the Photogroup/Miami 1983-85 The position included being Chair of Photowork 85, a Southeast Regional Exhibition and Competition; organizing exhibitions and lectures;
establishing workshops conducted by specialists in their field; bringing to Miami photographers Garry Winogrand, Cole Weston, and Arnold Newman.
