Incheon Global Business Utopia Incheon Free Economic Zone American International School Information Memorandum

Ivy Christian Academy Foundation To Whom It May Concern; September 11, 2009 It is our greatest pleasure to inform you about ICAF s new exciting project. We, ICAF are greatly interested in working in partnership with your school in the establishment and operation of Songdo International School beginning in September 2010 in the Incheon Free Economic Zone in Korea. By 2014, IFEZ will become home to more than 300 Northeast Asian headquarters of foreign companies, 30 international organizations including the United Nations affiliated bodies, and 15 foreign universities' extended campuses. Harmonized with cultural attractions and a clean environment, the free economic zone is expected to annually draw 20 million foreign tourists, making it one of the world's top 10 cities by 2020. As already the fastest growing education city in Korea, Incheon is expected to transform the education of Korea. We would like to ask your school to join us in this revolutionary opportunity by bringing in your vision and educational curriculums as well as assisting in faculty recruitment processes. In return, as the core academics administrator of Songdo International School, your school will receive royalties for all intellectual properties and teachers provided by your school. If you are interested in being a part of the Songdo International School, we are pleased to make an all-out effort to run the school successfully in Korea in terms of the management of school-wide financial functions, operations, and other services. To learn more about this opportunity in detail, please find the attached copy of our business plan and the example of memorandum of understanding. Thank you for your time and attention. Sincerely yours, Ivy Christian Academy Foundation

Project Overview Promoting a world class school into the new hurb of Korea, Incheon Free Economic Zone

Korea The relentless and indomitable will of the Korean people has enabled Korea to become the market leaders in industries like biotechnology and information technology. Korea uses the best current business standards and has one of the most advanced information and communications technology (ICT) infrastructures. It has the highest rate of broadband penetration in the world. In terms of number of subscribers, Korea's mobile phone market is the region's third largest and has one of the most advanced installed 3G networks. Korea has modern infrastructure comparable in many areas to the best in the world. The importance of and focus on education in Korea also allows the country to boast of having the largest number of college graduates and Ph.D.s in the world as well as having an adult literacy rate of nearly 100%. Many Korean students go abroad for undergraduate or graduate studies, with nearly 100,000 Korean students enrolled in China alone. The Unites States is another popular place for Korean student to study and economic opportunities have enticed many overseas students to return to their home country. The Korean Government has put forth a vision of positioning South Korea as a Northeast Asia business hub, further transforming the country into a knowledge-based, service-oriented economy. With its strategic location, rich market potential, strong industrial base, highly educated workforce, and a world class communication and logistics infrastructure, Korea is a dynamic place to live and to do business.

Project Goals International School Songdo will offer students from pre-kindergarten through twelfth grade the finest quality education available in the English language. Its mission is to help each and every child fully realize his or her academic potential in a state-of-the-art learning environment. Students will experience an instructional program based on standards that promote international perspectives, and encourage them to aspire to greater heights. The program is designed to prepare students for entry into leading colleges and universities around the world. Formed under the guidance of Headmaster's Advisory Council (HAC) and founded by International School Services (ISS), International School Songdo has benefited from the valuable advice and expertise of professionals in the education sector. This program will enhance the learning process through cutting edge teaching strategies and the effective use of technology in the classroom. Our students will be taught in English by the native English speaking teachers based on the curriculums of the designated school standard of the United States. Designated school is planning to provide the curriculums and teachers necessary for the schools to offer the best possible educational programs from K through 12th grade at AIS. The number of students American International School plans to enroll 2100 students, K through 12. All graders shall be day students. All classes and activities on the campus will be conducted in English.

Location Northeast Asia, anchored by Japan, China, and Korea, is home to three of the largest economies in the world, all with dynamic business environments. Throughout history, geographic convenience led to international business being transacted primarily through Southern Asia within relatively close proximity to the hubs of Hong Kong and Singapore. The explosion of economic and business growth experienced by Northeast Asia in the last decade has led to the need for another, northern Asian hub. Songdo International Business District (IBD) officially opens on August 7, 2009 as a designated Free Economic Zone and the first new sustainable city in the world designed to be an international business district. With its strategic location just 15 minutes driving time from Incheon International Airport and 3 ½ hours flying time to 1/3 of the world's population and regional markets such as China, Russia and Japan, Songdo IBD will position South Korea as the commercial epicenter of Northeast Asia. As of today, the international school is ready to operate and schedule to open its first class in September 2010 Location: 17-4 Songdo-dong, Incheon Free Economic Zoning, Republic of Korea Building Area, 566,000 Sqft 13

Environment Songdo IBD is an international city that offers every conceivable amenity, attracting multinational and domestic corporations to this new location. These include all the advantages of a master planned environment with 600 acres of open space and parks, an advanced technology infrastructure, the architecturally-stunning Convensia Convention Center, fine hotels, international schools, museums, a luxury retail mall, and the Jack Nicklaus Golf Club Korea. By employing the best practices of urban planning and sustainable design, Songdo IBD offers residents, workers and visitors an unparalleled quality of life. Songdo IBD has been designated with 40% open space - 600 acres - to maximize the connection to nature within the city for residents, workers and visitors. A 100 acre Central Park is the city's centerpiece - further highlighting the commitment to providing open and green space. All blocks connect pedestrians to open space, walking/biking corridors and public gathering areas. Open spaces and public gathering areas are arranged to optimize access to sunlight, views and open sky. Native or adapted species shall be utilized throughout the development. High water demand plants will be minimized or eliminated from landscape designs.
