1 Sustained Examinations/Received Candidates 1) Burke At its July 6, 2017 meeting, the Commission on Congregational Transitions of the Committee on Ministry took action to sustain the successful examination of Adam Johnen Ogg, candidate for Associate Pastor of Youth Ministry for Burke Presbyterian Church and subsequent recommendation to receive him as a minister member of National Capital Presbytery upon his ordination. 2) Scotland - At its July 6, 2017 meeting, the Commission on Congregational Transitions of the Committee on Ministry took action to sustain the successful examination of Craig Meek and subsequent recommendation to receive him as a minister member of National Capital Presbytery pending approval for his ordination and permission to labor outside of bounds. Craig Meek is being called to serve in a pastoral capacity at St. Gilles, Edinburgh, Scotland. 3) Darnestown - At its July 6, 2017 meeting, the Commission on Congregational Transitions of the Committee on Ministry took action to sustain the successful examination of Neill Sagen Morgan, Interim Pastor and Head of Staff, Darnestown Presbyterian Church, and subsequent recommendation to receive him for membership in National Capital Presbytery. 4) Church of the Pilgrims At its September 7, 2017 meeting, the Commission on Congregational Transitions of the Committee on Ministry took action to sustain the successful examination of Jan Nolting Carter, Transition Pastor, Church of the Pilgrims Presbyterian Church, and subsequent recommendation to receive her for membership in National Capital Presbytery. 5) Virginia Hospital Center - On August 31, 2017meeting, the Coordinating Commission of the Committee on Ministry took action to via email vote to affirm the successful examination of Megan Klose, Chaplain, Virginia Hospital Center and subsequent recommendation to receive her for membership in National Capital Presbytery upon her ordination. Contracts/Terms of Call 6) Berwyn At its September 7, 2017 meeting, the Commission on Congregational Transitions of the Committee on Ministry approved the Stated Supply Pastor contract between The Rev. Laura Hollister and the Session of Berwyn Presbyterian Church for a period of one year beginning 1 October 2017. 7) Burke At its July 7, 2017 meeting, the Commission on Congregational Transitions of the Committee on Ministry approved the Associate Pastor of Youth Ministry Terms of Call Agreement between Adam Johnen Ogg and the Session of Burke Presbyterian Church.

2 8) Church of the Pilgrims At its September 7, 2017 meeting, the Commission on Congregational Transitions of the Committee on Ministry approved the Transitional Pastor contract between Janet Nolting Carter and the Session of Church of the Pilgrims Presbyterian Church for a period of one year beginning 21 August 2017. 9) Darnestown At its July 7, 2017 meeting, the Commission on Congregational Transitions of the Committee on Ministry approved the Interim Pastor and Head of Staff contract between The Rev. Neill S Morgan and the Session of Darnestown Presbyterian Church for a period of one year beginning 23 July 2017. 10) First United At its June 1, 2017 meeting, the Commission on Congregational The Rev. Jeri Fields and the Session of First United Presbyterian Church Dale City for a period of six months beginning 1 July 2017. 11) Heritage At its September 7, 2017 meeting, the Commission on Congregational The Rev. Diane Hutchins and the Session of Heritage Presbyterian Church for a period of six months beginning April 20, 2017. 12) Little Falls At its September 7, 2017 meeting, the Commission on Congregational Transitions of the Committee on Ministry approved the Part-time Stated Supply Pastor Contract between The Rev. Mark L. Tidd and the Session of Little Falls Presbyterian Church beginning September 1, 2017. 13) Manassas At its September 7, 2017 meeting, the Commission on Congregational Transitions of the Committee on Ministry approved the Stated Supply Pastor Contract between The Rev. Lisa Kenkeremath and the Session of Manassas Presbyterian Church for a period of three months beginning September 1, 2017. 14) Poolesville At its July 7, 2017 meeting, the Commission on Congregational Transitions of the Committee on Ministry approved the Stated Supply Pastor Contract between The Rev. David Williams and the Session of Poolesville Presbyterian Church for a period of one year beginning 1 January 2017. 15) Presbyterian Mission Agency At its June 20, 2017 meeting, the Coordinating Commission of the Committee on Ministry approved the new Terms of Call Agreement between The Rev. Sterling Morse and the Presbyterian Mission Agency. 16) Presbyterian Mission Agency At its June 20, 2017 meeting, the Coordinating Commission of the Committee on Ministry approved the new Terms of Call Agreement between The Rev. Shannon Kiser and the Presbyterian Mission Agency

3 17) Presbyterian Mission Agency At its June 20, 2017 meeting, the Coordinating Commission of the Committee on Ministry approved the new 2017 Terms of Call Agreement between The Rev. Ann Philbrick and the Presbyterian Mission Agency. 18) Rockville At its September 7, 2017 meeting, the Commission on Congregational The Rev. Karen M. Doty and the Session of Rockville Presbyterian Church for 20 hours/week for a period of one year beginning 1 August 2017. 19) Northminster At its July 6, 2017 meeting, the Commission on Congregational Transitions of the Committee on Ministry approved the Part-time Stated Supply Pastor Contract between The Rev. John Molina-Moore and the Session of Northminster Presbyterian Church for a period of six months beginning 1 July 2017. 20) Trinity Herndon At its July 18, 2017 meeting, the Coordinating Commission of the Committee on Ministry granted permission to the Session of Trinity Herndon to negotiate new terms of call with the Revs. Stephen Smith-Cobbs and Rebecca Messman so that they may commence serving as co-pastors upon Presbytery approval. 21) Warner Memorial At its September 7, 2017 meeting, the Commission on Congregational The Rev. Todd W. Sutton and the Session of Warner Memorial Presbyterian Church for a period of one year beginning October 10, 2017. 22) Western At its July 7, 2017 meeting, the Commission on Congregational Transitions of the Committee on Ministry approved the Part-time Stated Supply Pastor Contract between The Rev. John Molina-Moore and the Session of Western Presbyterian Church for a period of six months beginning 1 June 2017. Honorably Retired/Dissolution of Relationship 23) Grace Lanham Upon the request of The Rev. Lyman Smith and with the concurrence of the congregation of Grace Lanham Presbyterian Church, the Congregational Transitions Commission of the Committee on Ministry at its September 7, 2017 meeting dissolved the pastoral relationship between both parties effective 18 September 2017. 24) Little Falls Upon the request of The Rev. Dr. Matthew (Matt) Merrill and with the concurrence of the congregation of Little Falls Presbyterian Church, the Congregational Transitions Commission of the Committee on Ministry at its September 7, 2017 meeting dissolved the pastoral relationship between both parties effective 30 September 2017. 25) Manassas Upon the request of The Rev. Dr. Whitworth (Skip) Ferguson and with the concurrence of the congregation of Manassas Presbyterian Church, the Congregational Transitions Commission of the Committee on Ministry at its September 7, 2017 meeting dissolved the pastoral relationship between both parties effective 30 July 2017.

4 26) Riverdale Upon the request of The Rev. Loril Hawk and with the concurrence of the congregation of Riverdale Presbyterian Church, the Congregational Transitions Commission of the Committee on Ministry at its July 6, 2017 meeting dissolved the pastoral relationship between both parties effective 30 June 2017. 27) Takoma Park Upon the request of The Rev. Jocelyn Cadwallader (JC) and with the concurrence of the congregation of Takoma Presbyterian Church, the Congregational Transitions Commission of the Committee on Ministry at its September 7, 2017 meeting dissolved the pastoral relationship between both parties effective 20 August 2017. 28) St. Andrew - Upon the request of The Rev. Jessica McClure Archer and with the concurrence of the congregation of St. Andrew Presbyterian Church, the Congregational Transitions Commission of the Committee on Ministry at its July 6, 2017 meeting dissolved the pastoral relationship between both parties effective 16 July 2017. Ordination/Installation 29) National Craig Meek, ordained on 30 June 2017. Craig is being called to serve in a pastoral capacity outside the bounds of NCP, at St. Giles Cathedral, Edinburgh Church in Scotland. 30) Oaklands Amy Carlson, minister member of Baltimore Presbytery, ordained by National Capital Presbytery on August 6, 2017. Housing Allowance - 31) Community Hospice - At its June 20, 2017 meeting, the Coordinating Commission of the Committee on Ministry approved a housing allowance designation of $17,820 for the remainder of 2017 for The Rev. Robbie Wellington, Chaplain, Community Hospice. 32) Presbyterian Council for Chaplains and Military Personnel - At its August 15, 2017 meeting, the Coordinating Commission of the Committee on Ministry approved a housing allowance designation of $12,000 for the remainder 2017, for The Rev. Lyman Smith, Director, Presbyterian Council for Chaplains and Military Personnel. Parish Associate - 33) Gaithersburg At its June 20, 2017 meeting, the Coordinating Commission of the Committee on Ministry approved the continuation of the Parish Associate relationship between The Rev. Jacob Rodawla and the Session of Gaithersburg Presbyterian Church. 34) Oaklands At its June 20, 2017 meeting, the Coordinating Commission of the Committee on Ministry took action to approve the new Parish Associate relationship between The Rev. Holly Ulmer and the Session of Oaklands Presbyterian Church.

5 35) Oaklands At its June 20, 2017 meeting, the Coordinating Commission of the Committee on Ministry took action to approve the continuation of the Parish Associate relationship between The Rev. Mark Greiner and the Session of Oaklands Presbyterian Church. 36) United Christian Parish, Reston - At its June 20, 2017 meeting, the Coordinating Commission of the Committee on Ministry approved the continuation of the Parish Associate relationship between The Rev. Lloyd Kinzer and the Session of United Christian Parish of Reston Church. Validated Ministry/Permission to Labor Outside of Bounds - 37) Novant Health Systems- At its June 20, 2017 meeting, the Coordinating Commission of the Committee on Ministry approved the ministry of ordination candidate Minh Towner, to serve as a Chaplain at Novant Health Systems. 38) Virginia Hospital Center - At its August 15, 2017 meeting, the Coordinating Commission of the Committee on Ministry approved the ministry of ordination candidate Megan Klose, to serve as a Chaplain at Virginia Hospital Center. 39) Permission to Labor outside of the Bounds - At its July 18, 2017 meeting, the Coordinating Commission of the Committee on Ministry granted permission to Craig Meek to labor outside of the bounds of National Capital Presbytery. Craig Meek is being called to serve in a pastoral capacity outside the bounds of NCP, in a church in Scotland. Reinstatement to the Active Minister Roll - 40) Rev. Richard Anderson - At its August 15, 2017 meeting, the Coordinating Commission of the Committee on Ministry restored The Rev. Richard Anderson to the active minister roll as an at large minister member of National Capital Presbytery. The Rev. Richard Anderson, now living in Charlotte, NC, was released from ministry by NCP in 1974 under the Book of Church Discipline section 82.20 (UPCUSA). He was in good standing and such release from office shall be without prejudice to ordination. ***
