Financial Conditions Summer Camp 2018 Founded in 1947 and run by the second generation of the Méan family, La Garenne International School offers a fantastic annual summer camp to children of over 35 different nationalities aged between 5 to 14. Our camp proposes language courses in the morning - French or English, beginner to advanced levels and sports, recreational and cultural activities in the afternoon, all carried out in a warm, reassuring and family atmosphere. Our adult/student ratio is 1:2 and the same teachers and monitors work during both summer and the academic school year programs.

Health insurance is not included. Please enclose at registration a certificate for illness accidents that is valid in Switzerland, otherwise a CHF 10.- per day will be charged to cover your child. Pocket money is not included but will be billed as follow: CHF 30.- for Mini students / CHF 50.- for Junior students per week.

If a child(ren) will be travelling alone by plane, please complete the «U.M.» form (Unaccompanied Minor) for their return journey. The form should mention all the details of the person who will pick up your child(ren) at the destination airport. Passport to be provided (not an ID) for the child(ren) travelling by plane. FINANCIAL CONDITIONS The reservation will only be effective once the entire payment has been settled. If parents cancel their child s place 65 days or fewer prior to the start of the course, the school reserves the right to retain the amount paid. Once the course has begun, the school retains full payment. This also applies to early or voluntary departure, late arrival, dismissal or prolonged absence. If there are several boarders from the same family (brothers and sisters) enrolled at the school, the following discount will be applied: 10% for the second child, 15% for the third child, 20% for the fourth and any additional children. In case of litigation between the school and the parents, Swiss Legislation is the only law applicable in all matters concerning this contract. The competent tribunal will be that of Aigle, Vaud district. IMPORTANT The enrolment of a student at La Garenne implies that the parents, legal guardians or person responsible for the child, have accepted the school rules and financial conditions.
